About Caunton Manor Stud

Originally established in 2005 by the Peace family in Caunton, Nottinghamshire. Caunton Manor Stud founder Victoria Peace had the philosophy to start a breeding programme that would take years to establish to get the quality of breeding that she had always desired. With the help of some of the industries top professionals, the search began to find some of the best mares in Three Day Eventing, Jumping and Dressage. Once these mares were proven at the highest of levels, some with the help of Victoria’s husband, International 5* Event Rider Matthew Wright, they were then ready to be used for embryo transfer or as broodmares with some of the worlds best stallions. In 2015/16 stallions also became a big part of the future of Caunton Manor Stud, again using the same theory as the mares. In 2019, Caunton Manor Stud will have some of the finest stallions standing in the UK at stud, with a proven performance record and some of the world’s best bloodlines. Caunton Manor Stud will also have some young horses set to start their competition career from our broodmare progeny. The Stud is now in operation from Caunton Manor Equestrian’s main yard in Retford, Nottinghamshire and base to Matthew and Victoria, who are continuously developing the Stud for the future.
